The Health Service Commission is filling five Senior Executive Consultant posts to provide strategic leadership for hospital planning, policy, professional standards, research, risk management and resource accountability. The position reports to the Director General Health Services and is intended for very senior clinicians with substantial consultant-level experience and formal management preparation. Qualifications and experience
- MBChB, BDS or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Master’s degree in Medicine or Public Health plus a postgraduate management qualification.
- At least 12 years of experience, including three years at consultant level in government or an equivalent reputable organisation.
