CRS Uganda is recruiting a MEAL project manager for an anticipated five-year health-systems-strengthening programme. The manager will design and run monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems, improve data quality, supervise feedback mechanisms and help project teams use evidence for adaptive management. The post is suited to an experienced MEAL professional who can combine technical design, partner capacity building, analysis and donor-compliant reporting.

- Candidates comfortable with indicator frameworks, data-quality assessment, evaluation and community feedback systems.
- Applicants able to coach partners, analyse quantitative and qualitative information and travel within Uganda.

- Design and roll out the project MEAL system, indicators, tools and implementation plans.
- Coordinate monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability activities.
- Analyse performance data, conduct data-quality checks and support adaptive decisions.
- Strengthen partner capacity, track MEAL resources and maintain complete documentation.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Public Health, International Relations, Social Sciences or a related field.
- At least five years of project-management experience, ideally in MEAL, health or NGO programming.
- Ability to use analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, SPSS, STATA or R; a relevant master’s degree is an advantage.
