Jobspace Uganda vacancy summary
UNICEF Uganda is commissioning a 12-month digital-workplace assignment to redesign its SharePoint landing page, improve section collaboration spaces and establish durable governance for Microsoft 365 content. The consultant will combine discovery research, information architecture, workflow design, user testing, training and change management. Who should apply?
- Digital-workplace or knowledge-management professionals with at least five years of progressively responsible experience.
- SharePoint Online specialists comfortable with Microsoft Teams, Lists, Forms, Power Automate and Power BI.
- Consultants able to facilitate user research, manage change and transfer practical skills to non-technical staff.
Curated responsibilities
- Map staff journeys, information flows, pain points and collaboration requirements across the country office.
- Design an information architecture, governance model, implementation roadmap and project controls.
- Configure SharePoint sites, libraries, metadata, permissions, navigation and priority Microsoft 365 workflows.
- Lead testing, content rationalisation, adoption activities, training and sustainable handover.
Qualifications and experience
- University degree in information systems, knowledge management, information management, business administration, organisational design, communications, computer science or a relevant field.
- At least five years of relevant experience, including modern SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 implementation.
- Strong English, facilitation, documentation, project-management and organisational-change capability; relevant Microsoft certification is desirable.
