  • Check container conditions and report damage, discrepancies and operational problems.
  • Coordinate with transport, customs, customer service and other operational teams.
  • Prepare daily reports covering yard activities, container movements and incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety standards.
  • Monitor the proper handling and utilisation of yard equipment.
  • Perform other relevant duties assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications and experience

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of experience in yard operations, logistics, warehousing, shipping or inland container depot operations.
  • Previous experience in container-terminal operations is an added advantage.
