Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily container receiving, stacking, storage and dispatch operations.
- Coordinate container movements and ensure efficient allocation of yard space.

- Monitor loading, offloading and cargo-transfer activities for efficiency and safety.
- Assign duties to yard operators, equipment operators and support personnel.
- Conduct routine yard inspections covering safety, housekeeping and compliance.
- Check container conditions and report damage, discrepancies and operational problems.
- Coordinate with transport, customs, customer service and other operational teams.
- Prepare daily reports covering yard activities, container movements and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety standards.
- Monitor the proper handling and utilisation of yard equipment.
- Perform other relevant duties assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications and experience
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least three years of experience in yard operations, logistics, warehousing, shipping or inland container depot operations.
- Previous experience in container-terminal operations is an added advantage.
