Jobspace Uganda Vacancy Summary
The Internal Auditor will review financial and operational controls at Uganda Heart Institute. The role includes checking payments and supporting documents, reviewing reconciliations, advances, payroll computations and purchasing records, and documenting findings that management can act upon.
Why This Role Matters
The qualification requirements are demanding, so they should be clearly evidenced. Beyond credentials, the CV should show how the applicant plans work, tests transactions, distinguishes an isolated error from a control weakness and follows recommendations. Avoid vague statements such as “performed audits”; name the process reviewed and the value of the finding without revealing confidential information.

How to Make Your Application Competitive
- Place the completed professional qualification prominently.
- Describe two audits using scope, procedure, finding and outcome.
- Show experience following recommendations to closure.
- Check that certificates and transcripts meet the submission requirements.
Questions to Prepare for Before an Interview
