Mukwano ICD (U) Limited is recruiting a Releasing Clerk for its warehouse operations in Tororo. The successful candidate will verify cargo-release documents, update warehouse records and coordinate with customers, transporters, clearing agents and warehouse personnel to ensure that goods are released accurately and on time.
This opportunity is best suited to a logistics, warehouse or transport professional with two to three years of relevant experience. Applicants should understand cargo documentation, stock movements and warehouse procedures and should be comfortable using computerised warehouse or enterprise-resource-planning systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Verify delivery orders, customs documents, invoices and customer authorisations before releasing cargo.
- Process and record cargo releases in the warehouse-management system.
- Maintain complete and accurate cargo-release documentation.
- Coordinate cargo collection with warehouse teams, customers, transporters and clearing agents.
- Confirm cargo quantities, descriptions and physical condition before release.
- Maintain records of released goods, stock movements and outstanding deliveries.
- Prepare daily cargo-release reports and operational updates.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, customs requirements and company policies.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and escalate unresolved cases.
- Support stock reconciliations and periodic warehouse audits.
- Maintain safe custody and orderly filing of cargo-release documents.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Transport Management.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Warehouse Management or a related field may also qualify.
- A minimum of two to three years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, cargo handling or ICD operations.
- Experience using warehouse-management or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
