Key responsibilities
Examine correctness of payment requests, ensure documentation completeness, and certify transactions for processing.
Verify receipts, match invoices with Local Purchase Orders, and perform online reconciliation prior to payment.
Compile accountability returns, verify, and retire advance ledgers.
Maintain primary financial records and up-to-date books of account.
Prepare periodic reconciliations of financial statements and conduct monthly cashbook reconciliations to bank statements.
Verify payroll change requests and reports to ensure correct computations, payments, and deductions; certify and follow up approvals and payments to beneficiaries.
