Key responsibilities
Provide safe, quality, emergency anaesthesia and critical care services to patients.
Provide safe patient care during both intra- and inter-hospital transfers.
Evaluate and refer patients for specialised anaesthesia and critical care services.
Provide technical support in delivering basic emergency and critical care services.
Conduct referrals for specialised anaesthesia and critical care services.
Participate in research activities and health data management.
Participate in continuing professional development programmes.
Provide technical support in disaster management activities.
Enforce professional ethics and service codes of conduct.
Manage information and records in anaesthesia and critical care.
Supervise and appraise staff.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the under listed vacant posts that exist in Mbarara City Council. Applications to be submitted in triplicate on PSF 3 Revised 2008 to the Secretary City Service Commission, P. O. Box 290, Mbarara Plot No.13A Mutl Drive.

Certified copies of all Academic qualifications, certificates, proof of experience attained, Professional licenses (where applicable), National Identity Card, Identity cards of schools and institutions attended, CV,3 recent passport size photographs and any other relevant documents deemed necessary must be attached.
