Key responsibilities
Plan, manage, monitor, and evaluate maternal and child health nursing services delivery in the City.
Promote quality assurance in maternal and child health/nursing services.
Provide technical guidance and support supervision for maternal and child health/nursing services.
Monitor implementation of maternal and child health nursing policy plans and programmes.
Coordinate maternal and child health nursing services.
Supervise maternal and child health nursing services in the City.
Promote operational research in maternal and child health/nursing services within the City.
Manage performance of staff.
Promote adherence to the code of conduct and ethics.
Prepare and submit reports on maternal and child health nursing activities.
Application procedure
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the under listed vacant posts that exist in Mbarara City Council. Applications to be submitted in triplicate on PSF 3 Revised 2008 to the Secretary City Service Commission, P. O. Box 290, Mbarara Plot No.13A Mutl Drive.

Certified copies of all Academic qualifications, certificates, proof of experience attained, Professional licenses (where applicable), National Identity Card, Identity cards of schools and institutions attended, CV,3 recent passport size photographs and any other relevant documents deemed necessary must be attached.
