Key responsibilities
Draw up and monitor programmes, activities, and appointments of the immediate supervisor.
Take dictation, transcribe, and present accurate, error-free work.
Ensure timely responses to inquiries and correspondence to and from the office.
Organise meetings, take minutes, and convey decisions to relevant officers/offices.
Draft letters of routine nature.
Requisition and account for office imprest and manage its utilisation.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the office.
Manage office records according to established security and records management procedures.
Requisition and manage office stationery and equipment.
Appraise performance of assigned support staff.
Receive and dispatch mail.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the under listed vacant posts that exist in Mbarara City Council. Applications to be submitted in triplicate on PSF 3 Revised 2008 to the Secretary City Service Commission, P. O. Box 290, Mbarara Plot No.13A Mutl Drive.
Those already in Government Service should route their applications through their Responsible Officers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.
Certified copies of all Academic qualifications, certificates, proof of experience attained, Professional licenses (where applicable), National Identity Card, Identity cards of schools and institutions attended, CV,3 recent passport size photographs and any other relevant documents deemed necessary must be attached.
