Job Details:
Oil Palm Uganda Limited (OPUL), Oil Palm Buvuma Limited (OPBL), OPUL Sango Bay (OSBL) has established over 9000 hectares of oil palm supported by about 6000 hectares in three districts. The crude oil is shipped to the refinery at Masese Jinja at BIDCO Uganda Limited (BUL) for manufacture into various products.
We conduct business in a more prosperous safe and environmentally sustainable manner that promotes wellbeing of our shareholders, community, government, employees and customers. Our vision is to be the leading internationally competitive high yielding low-cost oil palm plantation and milling company producing sustainable palm oil. 1. Job Title: Accountant

Reports to: Finance Manager OPUL
Duty Station: OPUL
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- The applicant must hold a relevant degree in accounting or related field from a recognized
- University.
- Experience: Desirable.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
2. Job title: Human Resource Officer
No of posts: (1)
Reports to: Acting Human Resource Manager
Duty Station: Sango Bay (OSBL)
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
3. Vacancy title: Trainee field Assistants
No of posts : Two (2)
Reporting to : Division In charge / Estate Manager
Location : Kalangala
Qualifications:
University degree in tropical Agriculture, Agronomy, soil science or horticulture from a recognized University.
Competence:
- Computer literate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to ride a motorcycle, Willingness to relocate to any group plantations within the estate from time to time
- Willingness to learn and undergo training.
4. Vacancy title: Agronomists
No of posts : Two (02)
Reporting to : EMU – R&D Manager
Location : Kalangala
Qualifications:
University Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Tropical Agriculture or horticulture from a recognized University.
Other Competence:
- Computer literate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to any group plantations within the estate from time to time
- Willing to learn and undergo training.
5. Vacancy Title: Community Liaison Officer

Reporting to: General Manager / Sustainability
Location: Kalangala
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB), Social Sciences, Public Administration, Community Development, or related field.
Other Competences:
Other Competences:
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, regulatory compliance, and community engagement.
- Able to supervise and lead subordinates.
- Ability to collect data and use it to assess social
- impacts of the project on the community.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good report writing skills.
