Job Purpose:
To develop cybersecurity awareness content, plans and support implementation of the cyber security awareness strategy and programs.
Primary
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Design and
implement cybersecurity awareness plans to educate stakeholders, including UCC
staff, communication service providers, government agencies, and the general
public, on cybersecurity best practices, threats, and mitigation strategies.
2. Organise
training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance cybersecurity knowledge
and skills among UCC employees and external stakeholders.
3. Develop
educational materials such as brochures, posters, online resources, and
training modules to disseminate cybersecurity information effectively and reach
a wide audience across various communication channels.
4. Support
cybersecurity awareness campaigns and programs to raise awareness about
emerging cyber threats, promote cybersecurity hygiene, and encourage proactive
measures to protect against cyber-attacks and data breaches.
5. Provide
training on various cyber security procedures including incident response
procedures and protocols to ensure stakeholders are prepared to respond
effectively to cybersecurity incidents.
6. Promote
adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines established by
the Commission and other regulatory authorities, and ensuring stakeholders
understand their roles and responsibilities.
7. Collaborate
with industry partners, government agencies, educational institutions, and
other stakeholders to leverage resources, share best practices, and coordinate
efforts in promoting cybersecurity awareness.
8. Maintain
flexibility to accommodate any other duties assigned by the line supervisor
from time to time.
