PROJECT SUMMARY:
USAID's Local Partner Health Services - Kigezi & Lango Activity is implemented by Joint Clinical Research Centre (CRC). The activity is aimed at supporting the continuation of technical assistance to districts for the implementation of an integrated package of quality HIV/AIDS and TB services to the beneficiary population in the Kigezi and Lango sub-regions.
The main goal of the activity is to increase the availability, accessibility and utilization of quality, integrated HIV and TB services. The Activity is extending this support to the Ankole and Acholi regions
To support the implementation of its scope, the mechanism wishes to recruit suitable candidates for the following temporary positions with possibility of extension based on availability of funds.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND
EXPERIENCE:
• The ideal
candidate must hold a Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources Management, Business
Administration, Industrial and Organization Psychology, Social Sciences or
related field.
• At least
three years of working experience in a busy HR generalist setup, preferably in
an NGO.
• Excellent
knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment,
onboarding, evaluation, training & development etc.
• Good
understanding of labour laws, HR functions and best practices
• Ability to
handle highly confidential matters professionally & discreetly.
• Excellent
communication skills with an ability to liaise effectively with a range of
departments to effectively implement Project policies
• Advanced
interpersonal skills, demonstrated in the ability to develop strong working
relationships with colleagues and employees
• High degree
of flexibility to work extra hours and travel occasionally under strenuous
conditions
• Excellent
command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Good
knowledge and experience working with computer packages MS office, excel,
PowerPoint, HRIS or HRMS.
