Job Description
To execute the
information systems audit assignments including other assurance assignments in
line with the audit plans and prepare reports of audit findings in accordance
with the Bank’s risk management guidelines, internal control procedures and the
Bank’s strategic objectives
Roles &
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Collect data and prepare audit programs Perform the tests as specified in the audit program. Gather audit evidence in respect of every audit undertaken Prepare appropriate audit working papers in respect of each audit assignment. Discuss all preliminary audit results with auditees to agree findings Compile findings and conclusions in relation to the audits undertaken. Verifying responses by Auditees to the issues raised by both Internal and External Auditors. Keep track of emerging technologies in ICT and develop audit plans and tests to evaluate the related risks pertaining to the application of such technologies Identify and analyze threats and potential risks to the organization IT assets Assess client business processes, information systems and internal controls, and perform advanced data analytics using computerized audit tools Develop and discuss findings; come to agreement on recommendations and timelines for corrective actions with responsible personnel/department audited and monitor the implementation status of agreed recommendations Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Computing, Computer Engineering. Professional Qualification: Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Advanced Diploma, Chartered Financial Analyst, Association of Chartered Certified Accountant qualification or Certified Practicing Accountant qualification, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
