DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Communication
REPORTS TO: Manager Marketing and Communications
Main Purpose of the Job
Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies to strengthen the bank’s market position and enhance brand identity in support of the bank’s overall strategy.
Responsibilities
- Promote brand awareness to attract customers and drive business growth through targeted marketing efforts.
- Coordinate and create marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions to attract and retain customers and drive business growth.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and consultants to enhance the execution of the marketing strategy.
- Provide expertise in designing and launching new products/ services according to the organization’s calendar.
- Plan and execute campaigns, market research, and content creation for promotions and customer engagement strategies
- Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, broadcast, and events to support business growth
- Maintain the bank’s brand identity, including color schemes and overall visual and messaging consistency.
- Oversee the creation of promotional materials, including brochures, advertisements, and digital content.
- Ensure brand uniformity across all the Bank’s distributional channels, including branches and alternative banking channels.
- Implement a content strategy that supports brand messaging and drives customer engagement.
- Work closely with the product development team to define marketing materials and programs.
- Develop and project a reputable public image for the Bank, reflecting its vision and strategic direction and enhancing its competitive positioning.
- Report on marketing results and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Implement effective marketing strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction per the Bank’s strategy.
- ensure all marketing materials adhere to industry standards and legal requirements.
- In charge of the marketing & branding budget and targets
- Comply with AML/CFT/CPF policies and procedures, non -compliance of which shall be addressed as per the bank disciplinary processes.
- Any other duty as shall be assigned to you from time to time.
Person Specification (Education, training, skills and experience)
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or any other relevant discipline from a recognized University.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in marketing, preferably in the financial services sector or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling messages and managing public relations.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools to measure and optimize digital campaigns.
- Knowledge of Bank products and services
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and media.
- Experience in developing comprehensive marketing strategies
- Experience in analysing how market trends affect bank products and services.
- Experience in managing brand reputation and ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Ability to conduct market research and use insights to tailor marketing strategies.
- Ability to generate innovative marketing ideas and campaigns.
- Experience in handling brand criss and reputation management.
