Job Details:
Uganda Batteries is seeking dedicated and motivated candidates to join our team as Production Manager – Recycling and Procurement Manager. Preferred candidates should have experience in manufacturing, recycling operations with a proven track record of leading teams in production environments.
Procurement Manager
Manage procurement for all Projects ensuring efficient sourcing and compliance with company policies.
Key Deliverables include.
- Strategic sourcing & supplier management
- Supply continuity & risk management
- Cost optimization and savings delivery
- Inventory optimization
- Contract management & compliance
- Quality assurance of procured materials
- Supplier relationships and development
- Logistics and import management
- Sustainability and responsible sourcing
- Cross-functional collaboration
The suitable candidate should have a Degree in Procurement, stores and logistics management or related field, CIPS qualification is a requirement and over 6 years’ experience with 2 years at supervisory level.
