Job Details:
Kibinge Coffee Farmers’ Co-operative Society Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified Ugandan candidates to fill the following positions:
1. GENERAL MANAGER (1 Position)
Reports to: Board of Directors
Job Function
The General Manager provides overall leadership and strategic direction of the cooperative, ensuring efficient operations, financial sustainability, and growth of coffee production and community-based initiatives.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Arts, Community Development, Business Administration or related field
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working experience, preferably in the coffee value chain
- Experience working with rural communities
- Familiarity with Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM), Fair Trade (FT) arrangements, and community project management.
- Membership in a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work on voluntary terms for at least one (1) year is an added advantage.

2. ACCOUNTANT (1 Position)
Reports to: General Manager
Job Function
The Accountant manages financial records, budgeting, reporting, and ensures accountability and transparency in all financial operations.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- CPA is an added advantage
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a reputable organization
- Experience in agriculture, rural development or co-operative sector preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Manage budgeting, auditing, and taxation
- Maintain accurate accounting records
- Ensure compliance with financial policies
- Support financial planning and decision-making
Key Competencies
- Financial analysis and reporting

3. OFFICE SUPERVISOR (1 Position)
Reports to: General Manager
Job Function
The Office Supervisor oversees administrative operations and ensures smooth coordination of all office based activities.
Academic Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Office Practice, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
Work Experience
- At least 2 years working experience in office administration or supervisory role in a reputable organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage office operations and schedules
- Coordinate communication and documentation
- Supervise office staff
- Ensure proper record keeping
- Support management in administrative tasks

4. ATC SUPERVISOR (1 Position)
Reports to: General Manager
Job Function
The Agriculture Training Center (ATC) Supervisor manages nursery operations and agricultural training activities.
Academic Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agroforestry, or related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in tree nursery supervision.
- Technical Knowledge in tree species, propagation and seedlings management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursery and seedling production.
- Train farmers on tree planting and agroforestry.
- Manage irrigation systems and nursery equipment.
- Coordinate staff and relevant stakeholders.

5. FACTORY SUPERVISOR (1 Position)
Reports to: General Manager
Job Function
The Factory Supervisor oversees processing operations to ensure quality. efficiency, and safety in coffee processing at the co-operative Factory.
Academic Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in industrial or plantation setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise factory operations
- Ensure quality and safety standards
- Manage production processes
- Coordinate factory staff
- Maintain production records

6. FIELD OFFICERS (2 Position)
Reports to: Agricultural Training Center (ATC) Supervisor
Job Function
Support farmers through training, monitoring, and promoting sustainable coffee production.
Academic Qualification
- •Minimum O’Level Certificate
- Certificate in Agriculture (Crop Husbandry) is an added advantage
Work Experience
- Minimum of 4 years working experience with a co-operative, Agricultural NGO or related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Train farmers in good agronomic practices
- Monitor farms and provide technical advice
- Promote environmental conservation
- Collect data and prepare reports
Key Competencies
- Agronomic knowledge
- Communication skills
- Data collection and reporting
- Ability to ride a motorcycle
- Willingness to work in rural settings
- Commitment to cooperative values
- Willingness to work on voluntary terms for one year will be an added advantage.
