Job Details:
The Ministry of Health (MoH) received funding from the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) as well as build strong, resilient systems for health to tackle current and new emerging threats. The Ministry of Health therefore seeks to invite suitably qualified Candidates to fill positions on the Global Fund Program. The summary of the positions is as indicated below. Job Purpose
To provide technical support and carry out routine internal audit engagements, management, supervision, review and monitoring progress of day-to-day internal audit activities.
Qualifications
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an
- Honours Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration/Commerce with a bias in Accounting/Audit option.
- Full professional qualification in Accountancy like ACCA, CPA and CIMA.
- Must hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
- Full membership to the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) is a MUST.
- Possession of additional qualification like CIA or related professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
At least five (5) years’ experience in auditing. Preference will be given to those with experience in audit of donor funded projects and public sector.
Knowledgeable in ICT and experience in use of automated financial management systems is an added advantage.
