Key responsibilities
Carry out daily vehicle maintenance checks and generate reports per administrative guidelines and policy.
Drive the vehicle for official duties and assignments.
Maintain up-to-date records of vehicle movement, insurance, licence, and service card per City policies and procedures.
Report technical/mechanical faults to the supervising or transport officer.
Ensure cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle.
Application procedure
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the under listed vacant posts that exist in Mbarara City Council. Applications to be submitted in triplicate on PSF 3 Revised 2008 to the Secretary City Service Commission, P. O. Box 290, Mbarara Plot No.13A Mutl Drive.
Those already in Government Service should route their applications through their Responsible Officers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.
Certified copies of all Academic qualifications, certificates, proof of experience attained, Professional licenses (where applicable), National Identity Card, Identity cards of schools and institutions attended, CV,3 recent passport size photographs and any other relevant documents deemed necessary must be attached.
