Job Details:
Duties, Roles and
Responsibilities
·
Collecting and examining samples, and reporting on the results.
·
Referring samples to other laboratories and ensure that protocols
are followed
·
Breeding and training lab animals for research and for science
education programs.
·
Carrying out science education activities using laboratory animals.
·
Conducting tissue processing and providing storage services.
·
Establishing a database of necropsy results and creating a system
of storing tissue sections.
·
Undertaking research and project activities.
·
Collaborating in breeding programs and learning initiatives.
·
Preparing work plans and budgets for laboratory requirements.
·
Developing wildlife laboratory standard operating procedures and
guidelines.
·
Establishing a repository system for animal tissue, and processed
slide for future reference.
Qualifications, Education and

A Diploma in Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution.
