Job Details:
Minimum Qualification
• Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science; or Records Management from a recognized University/Institution.
Working Experience
• Working experience of one (1) year in Records Management
The Records Officer will be responsible to the Senior Records Officer for performing the following duties:
• To receive, organise and describe records of Survey Mapping. Physical Planning. Land Administration and Registration according to the standards and guidelines:
• To implement records retention and disposal schedules:
• To provide electronic records management services;
• To maintain registries and records centers according to the established standards
• To coordinate the transfer of semi-cument records to the strong room;
• To manage and store records in the strong room;
• To provide technical support to the team
• To document and record poor quality records by village and forward it to the Supervisor,
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
