Job Details:
Ibanda Municipality is in South Western Uganda. It is one of the newly created Municipalities that commenced its operations on 1st July 2016. It borders with Igorora Town Council, Kikyenkye, Kijonjo and Ishongororo Sub Counties of Ibanda District, Kinoni Sub County in Kiruhura District and Kicheche Sub County of Kamwenge District. Ibanda Municipal Council hosts Ibanda District Headquarters and It lies 1800metres above sea level. Ibanda Municipal Council headquarters are situated in Kyaruhanga Ward, Kagongo Division and has a total land area of Appr 372.21 sq. Km.
It is the main political, administrative, and commercial centre of Ibanda District and the site of the district headquarters. It started way back in 1990s as a small trading centre and was elevated from a trading centre to a town board, town council and in 2016 it was granted a Municipality status. The Municipal Council has three Divisions of Kagongo, Bisheshe and Bufunda with 21 wards of Kyaruhanga, Bufunda, Nyamirima, Nsasi, Kayenje, Kashangura, Rwenshuri, Kigarama, Rugazi, Rwobuzizi, Kakatsi, Bugarama, Karangara, Kabaare, Kanyansheko,Nyakatookye, Kyeikucu, Kikoni, Kagongo,Ruyonza and Katongore ward. Ibanda Municipal Council has 238 villages. Ibanda Municipal council commenced its operations on 1st July 2016 after being elevated from a Town Council and other sub counties that were annexed to. (Bisheshe Sub County, Nsasi, Part of Nyabuhikye Sub County and Kashangura) making the biggest Municipal Council in the region

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the under-listed Vacant Posts that exist in Ibanda District Local Government and Ibanda Municipal Council.
Applications filled in triplicate on Public Service Forms No.2 (Revised 2008) should be submitted to the Secretary District Service Commission- Ibanda, P.O. Box 388 Ibanda, not later than Four Weeks from the Date of Publication of this Advert
Application Forms should be filled in triplicate and should bear the title of the Post and Reference Number specified against the Vacancy.
Applicants should attach Certified Photocopies of Academic Qualifications, CVs, three Passport Photographs (Colored) and any other Relevant Documents.
